Plan things to do with friends

NextMove helps plan outings with friends by using a group's size, interests, available time, budget, location, and transport. Generate a route with real places and share a plan card so everyone can respond to the same idea.

Agree on constraints before voting on venues

Start with the things the group can establish quickly: when to meet, when to finish, how much to spend, and how everyone will travel. Choose one or two interests that most people want rather than asking every person to name a different venue. Enter those preferences and the group size in NextMove.

A returned plan provides specific stops, estimated costs and timing, and map links. Share the plan card and ask the group to react to that route. This makes a disagreement concrete: someone may like the activity but need a cheaper meal or a shorter final journey.

Adjust one stop without restarting the discussion

Replace the activity that does not fit or remix the plan when the group wants a different overall direction. Recheck the sequence after changes. A route with a flexible public stop can be easier to shorten than several prepaid experiences, especially if someone arrives late or leaves early.

NextMove supports sharing plan cards; it is not a shared reservation system or a guarantee that every friend has confirmed attendance. Establish the final meeting location, ticket responsibility, and travel arrangements in the way your group normally coordinates.

Check group access and total spending

Some venues require advance arrangements for a larger party, even if individual visitors can walk in. Check group-ticket rules, table sizes, age restrictions, accessibility, and whether the activity suits everyone. An estimated outing budget does not include every optional purchase each person might make.

Use the free city guides for specific starting places and official links. App planning features require NextMove Pro on iPhone. The plan helps the group choose an outing, but reservations, payments, and agreement about splitting costs are handled separately.

Questions, answered

Can my friends see the plan?

You can share a plan card so friends can review the idea. This does not create a collaborative live booking or automatically confirm attendance.

Does group size reserve enough spaces?

No. Group size shapes the suggestion. Check table availability, ticket capacity, and group admission requirements with the venues.
